Antalya Province

A Mediterranean port city at the foot of the Taurus Mountains, Antalya combines a well-preserved Roman-era old town — the Kaleiçi district of Ottoman houses, Hadrian's Gate, and a yacht-filled harbor — with access to some of Turkey's most visited beaches. The Düden Waterfalls descend directly into the sea a few kilometers east of the city center, providing an unusual coastal waterfall landscape. Muğla Province

A sheltered lagoon on the Aegean coast of southwestern Turkey where a narrow sand spit separates a glassy, protected inner bay from the open sea. The distinctive blue of the water, set against a backdrop of pine-forested mountains, has made it one of the most photographed coastal scenes in the country. Paragliders launching from the summit of Babadağ mountain above the lagoon add a distinct visual element to the bay's skyline.
