You've been where the atlas hasn't.

We write the atlas — but the people who went make it an experience. Add your photos, fix a fact, or point us to a place we've missed.

Add a photo

The atlas is written; your photos make it real. Every place already comes with photography — and has room for the pictures of people who actually stood there.

Find a place you know

Suggest a change

A season that shifted, a ferry that stopped running, a fact we got wrong. If the atlas says otherwise, we want to know what you saw.

Suggest a place

Thousands of places, and still not all of them. If you know somewhere the atlas hasn't found — a village, a valley, a market — tell us about it and we'll write it in.

What happens next.

01
Find the place
Search the atlas, or wander to the page of a place you've been.
02
Add or suggest
Drop your photo, point at the line that needs fixing, or tell us about the place we're missing.
03
We check, then it's live
A person reads every contribution against a source. Photos you add carry your credit; fixes simply make the atlas truer.
Three things we ask
Your own photos, from the place itself
No faces without their owner's permission
Facts we can check against a source
Start with a place you know.
