Chapter I · Capital Region of Denmark · 59 places
Capital Region of Denmark
A 17th-century waterfront canal district in central Copenhagen lined with brightly coloured townhouses, wooden sailing vessels, and pavement cafes. The canal was dug in 1670–73 to connect the sea to the city centre, and the buildings along its north quay retain their original merchant-house facades in shades of red, yellow, and blue. The reflection of the coloured facades in the still canal water at dawn is among the most photographed scenes in Scandinavia.

Southern Denmark
The original Legoland, built beside the toy company's home factory in Billund. Millions of bricks form miniature cities and themed rides pitched squarely at younger children.

Chapter III · Central Denmark · 33 places
Central Denmark
The largest summer amusement park in Denmark, organized into themed lands with roller coasters and a water park. It sits amid the rolling countryside of eastern Jutland.
Chapter IV · North Denmark Region · 19 places
North Denmark Region
The northernmost town in Denmark, situated near Grenen where the Skagerrak and Kattegat seas converge at the tip of the Jutland Peninsula. The late-19th-century Skagen Painters colony transformed the exceptional quality of North Jutland light into a celebrated national artistic tradition, and the Skagen Museum preserves their works. The dune-buried Tilsandede Kirke — a medieval church engulfed by wind-driven sand — is a landmark a short distance from the town.
