Haiti, all of it.
22 curated places across 7 regions — photographed, mapped, and noted with the season each is best in.

The 4 biggest regions — Ouest, Nord, Sud and Artibonite — read below as chapters, with 3 more waiting past them.
Chapter I · Ouest · 7 places
Ouest
The former presidential residence of Haiti, a white beaux-arts palace with three domed pavilions completed in 1920 on the Champ de Mars. Long a symbol of the Haitian state, it was severely damaged and partly collapsed in the 2010 earthquake and later demolished, with reconstruction plans debated for years. Historic photographs and the surviving perimeter fencing recall its former grandeur. The site faces a plaza of monuments and remains central to the civic and political geography of the capital.
Chapter II · Nord · 5 places
Nord
Haiti's second city and its former colonial capital, laid out on a grid beside a wide bay with rows of arcaded, balconied buildings. It is the gateway to the Citadelle Laferrière and Sans-Souci Palace in the mountains to the south, and to beaches such as Cormier and Labadie along the coast road. Direct international flights have made the north far easier to reach than overland routes suggest.

Chapter III · Sud · 2 places
Sud
An island off Haiti's southwestern coast with no cars and a coastline of coconut groves, fishing villages, and quiet white-sand coves. Small boats cross from Les Cayes in under an hour, landing at beaches that see only a handful of visitors. A pair of modest resorts and village guesthouses offer the only accommodation.
Chapter IV · Artibonite · 1 place
Artibonite
A coastal city in the Artibonite valley where Haitian independence was proclaimed in 1804. It is a place of national significance surrounded by dry plains and salt flats.
