The easternmost of the granitic Seychelles, a private island where conservation work brought the Seychelles magpie-robin back from the edge of extinction. Thousands of Aldabra giant tortoises outnumber the human population many times over. Anse Victorin, one of its seven beaches, is regularly ranked among the world's most beautiful.
