Praslin Island

The second-largest of the Seychelles inner islands is the only place on Earth where the coco de mer palm grows wild in its natural state in the Vallée de Mai. Praslin's beaches, particularly Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, are among the finest in the archipelago, with granite-fringed bays and exceptionally clear water. The island's smaller scale and lower development density give it a quieter character than Mahé.
