Anse Lazio

Positioned at the northwestern tip of Praslin island, Anse Lazio is a sweeping bay framed by granite headlands and backed by takamaka trees that lean over the sand. The beach faces northwest, making it particularly suited to afternoon and sunset photography when the light catches the pale granite boulders flanking each end of the cove. The bay's orientation also provides sheltered swimming conditions for much of the year.
