Set on the southwestern coast of La Digue island, Anse Source d'Argent is widely considered among the most photographed beaches on Earth, characterized by massive rounded pink granite boulders scattered across shallow turquoise water and powdery white sand. The beach is accessible through a former coconut plantation that provides dappled shade. The classic composition photographs the boulders from the water's edge at low tide with the open Indian Ocean visible between rock formations.
