Nehru Park is a large landscaped park in the diplomatic enclave of central New Delhi, opened in the late 1960s and named after the country's first prime minister. Its gently rolling lawns, flowerbeds and clumps of mature trees make it a favoured spot for morning joggers, yoga practitioners and picnicking families. The park regularly hosts open-air music performances and cultural festivals on its grassy slopes. Surrounded by embassies and government housing, it offers a spacious, well-tended refuge in a quiet district.
