This open-air craft and food bazaar was created in the 1990s to give artisans from across India a permanent place to sell directly to buyers. Thatched stalls arranged around a paved plaza rotate their occupants regularly, so weavers, potters, metalworkers and embroiderers from different states appear on a changing schedule. A row of regional food kiosks lets visitors sample cuisines from many corners of the country. Cultural performances are staged on an open platform near INA, drawing crowds for textiles and souvenirs.
