This Lodi-era tomb in the Lodi Gardens takes its name, meaning glass dome, from the blue glazed tiles that once studded its exterior, traces of which still cling to the upper walls. Built in the late fifteenth century, the square, single-domed structure holds several unidentified graves and stands close to its companion, the Bara Gumbad. Bands of carved plaster and remnants of coloured tilework decorate the facade, while the interior retains fragments of painted ornament. Surrounded by lawns, it is popular with joggers and families.
