This grand colonial-era residence served as the home of India's first prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, and was later converted into a memorial and research institution. Built in the late 1920s as part of the imperial capital, its long neoclassical facade fronts extensive lawns near the three-soldier memorial that gives the estate its name. Inside, preserved study and drawing rooms recall Nehru's tenure, while galleries trace the independence struggle. The grounds also hold a planetarium, drawing students and history enthusiasts.
