Set in southern Delhi, this sprawling complex is dedicated chiefly to the goddess Katyayani, a form of Durga. Founded in 1974 by the ascetic Baba Sant Nagpal Ji, it grew into one of India's largest temple ensembles, mixing South and North Indian styles across dozens of shrines. Visitors pass carved marble gateways to reach the main sanctum, which opens fully only during the twice-yearly Navratri festivals. Quiet garden courtyards and shrines to Shiva, Ganesha and Rama draw pilgrims year-round.
