Tucked within the Mehrauli Archaeological Park, this sixteenth-century monument pairs a red-and-white sandstone mosque with an intimate adjoining tomb. The mosque shows an elegant transition between the Lodi and early Mughal styles, with a recessed central arch and refined plaster detailing. The small tomb chamber holds the graves of the Sufi poet Jamali and a companion known only as Kamali, its ceiling covered in richly coloured tilework and inscribed verses. The setting among scrub draws heritage walkers.
