Known locally as Brickdam Cathedral, this Roman Catholic cathedral rebuilt in the early 20th century is one of the few large masonry churches in a city famous for timber architecture. Its Romanesque-influenced facade and twin towers dominate Brickdam, Georgetown's oldest street, and the interior features a calm, high-ceilinged nave.
