Seat of Guyana's National Assembly, this domed 19th-century structure anchors the western end of Brickdam in central Georgetown. Its neoclassical facade and cannon-flanked forecourt make it one of the city's most recognizable civic landmarks, and the surrounding streets are dense with colonial-era public buildings.
