Housed in a wooden colonial building on Main Street, this small museum is devoted to the Indigenous peoples of Guyana. Exhibits cover Amerindian archaeology, craftwork, and daily life, drawing on collections that reach back to early ethnographic fieldwork in the interior. It pairs well with a walking tour of Georgetown's historic avenue of timber mansions.
