Positioned directly in front of Buckingham Palace, this grand marble monument honours Queen Victoria and was unveiled in 1911. Sculpted by Thomas Brock, it centres on a seated figure of the queen surrounded by allegorical groups representing charity, truth, and motherhood. A gilded bronze figure of Victory crowns the pinnacle above the palace forecourt. It forms the ceremonial heart of the processional route along The Mall and draws crowds during royal events.
