Speight's Brewery

This long-established brewery in Dunedin has operated on the same central site since the 1870s and is closely tied to the identity of the southern region. Guided tours lead visitors through the historic brewhouse, explaining the brewing process and the company's history, and end with tastings. A heritage spring on the site still supplies water, and locals fill containers from a public tap on the street outside. The brewery is one of the city's best-known industrial landmarks.
