This neoclassical building on the National Mall houses the nation's most treasured documents and serves as headquarters of the National Archives. In its domed Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom, visitors can view the original Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights displayed in protective cases. Massive bronze doors and Corinthian columns front the Constitution Avenue entrance, while rotating exhibitions draw on billions of records held by the agency. A copy of the Magna Carta is also on public display among its holdings.
