Jabal Al-Weibdeh is one of the oldest residential hills of Amman and today the city's artistic and cultural quarter. Its quiet streets are lined with stone villas from the 1920s and 1930s, small galleries, cafés, and long staircases climbing between terraces. The neighbourhood hosts art institutions and independent bookshops, retaining a character shaped by early Ammani families and later residents. It offers a walkable contrast to the busy downtown below and a window onto the capital's heritage architecture.
