A small wildlife park set within the historic Alameda Botanic Gardens on the lower slopes of the Rock. It cares for rescued and confiscated animals, many of them exotic species seized at the border, and uses them to teach visitors about conservation. Enclosures wind among mature trees and planted terraces that date from the 19th-century garden. The combination of botanical grounds and animal care makes it a family-oriented stop close to the town centre.
