Trafalgar Cemetery

A small burial ground just outside the southern town gates, associated in name with the naval Battle of Trafalgar fought off the nearby cape. Shaded by trees, it holds the graves of sailors and residents from the early 19th century, including some who died of wounds or fever after the battle and its aftermath. Weathered headstones and memorial plaques record the military and colonial life of the fortress. It offers a quiet, reflective corner amid the busy streets of the town.
