A historic gun site on the western shore of Gibraltar where a huge 100-ton Victorian cannon is preserved as a monument. The spot takes its name from the tradition that the body of Admiral Nelson was brought ashore nearby after the Battle of Trafalgar. Displays around the great gun explain 19th-century coastal defence and the engineering needed to move such enormous artillery. The waterside location gives views across the bay toward the Spanish coast.
