A mosque in the southern old city of Nicosia converted from a Gothic Augustinian church after the Ottoman conquest of the island. Fragments of the medieval building, including pointed arches and carved stonework, survive within the later Islamic structure and its tall minaret. It continues to serve the local Muslim community and sits close to a restored Ottoman bathhouse. The building is another example of how crusader-era architecture was adapted across the centuries in the capital.
