The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek is an art museum in central Copenhagen founded by a brewing magnate to house his collections of sculpture and painting. It is especially renowned for ancient Mediterranean art, with extensive Egyptian, Greek, Etruscan and Roman works, alongside French and Danish nineteenth-century painting and sculpture.
