The Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, or Petronas Philharmonic Hall, sits at the base of the Petronas Twin Towers in central Kuala Lumpur, opened in 1998 as the home of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. Built in a European shoebox concert-hall style with fine acoustics, it seats around 900 and holds a large pipe organ. It hosts classical concerts, chamber music and a range of other performances, maintaining a formal dress code that underscores its concert-hall tradition.
