The Faralda Crane is a former industrial harbour crane on the northern bank of the IJ in Amsterdam, converted into a small luxury hotel and viewpoint. Rising about 50 metres above a former shipyard, the yellow steel structure now holds suspended suite pods and a rooftop spa pool overlooking the water and the city skyline. A glass lift climbs the crane's frame, and the top platform is used for bungee jumping and events. It stands in a redeveloped district of studios, a striking reuse of the city's port machinery.
