Sager House is a nineteenth-century mansion on the waterfront in central Stockholm that has been the official residence of the Swedish Prime Minister since the mid-1990s. Built for a wealthy family and later acquired by the state, its dignified facade with a rounded corner tower overlooks the water near the government offices at Rosenbad. The elegant interiors are used for meetings and the reception of foreign leaders. The building is closed to the public, but its quayside location keeps it among the recognisable landmarks of the district.
