Rosenbad is a distinguished waterfront building in central Stockholm that houses the offices of the Swedish government and the prime minister. Completed in 1904 in a Venetian-influenced Art Nouveau style, its ornate facade with rounded arches faces a canal near the parliament and royal palace. The name recalls a bathhouse that once stood on the site. The building is the executive centre of Swedish administration, and though its interior is reserved for official use, its detailed exterior is a landmark on the central waterways.
