A private museum within Prague Castle displaying the collections of the aristocratic Lobkowicz family. Returned after decades of confiscation, the holdings include old master paintings, arms, ceramics and musical scores. Among the treasures are canvases by Canaletto and Bruegel and original manuscripts annotated by Beethoven and Mozart, whom the family patronised. Richly furnished rooms overlook the city rooftops from the castle heights. The collection offers a rare glimpse of Central European noble patronage across the centuries.
