This large observation wheel on the eastern side of Puebla was among the tallest of its kind when it opened, offering enclosed cabins that rise high above the surrounding cultural district. From the top, riders take in wide views over the city, the modern museums nearby and, on clear days, the great volcanoes that flank the valley. Illuminated in changing colours after dark, it has become a recognisable feature of the city's skyline and a popular outing for families and couples in the evenings.
