Set in a former railway station and its yards in central Puebla, this open-air museum preserves locomotives, carriages and rolling stock that recount the history of rail travel in Mexico. Steam and diesel engines stand along the old platforms, and visitors can climb aboard restored cabins and cabooses to imagine the age when the railway knit the country together. Exhibits inside the station explain the social and economic impact of the lines. Popular with families, it offers a hands-on encounter with a chapter of national history.
