Alderney Landing is a waterfront cultural and market complex in Dartmouth, on the eastern shore of Halifax Harbour beside the ferry terminal. It combines a theatre, art gallery, farmers' market and public plaza overlooking the water and the downtown skyline across the harbour. The site draws on the area's history as a shipbuilding and ferry crossing point, the oldest continuously operating saltwater ferry route in North America landing nearby. Community festivals and outdoor events animate its boardwalk through the year.
