This historic Presbyterian church in the Osu district traces its roots to the Basel Mission, which brought Christianity and Western schooling to the Gold Coast in the nineteenth century. The mission's work in translation and education left a deep imprint on Ghanaian society, and the church remains an active congregation. Its stone walls and simple gabled form reflect early missionary architecture. Standing near the Oxford Street shopping area, it offers a quiet reminder of Osu's long history before the neighbourhood became a nightlife hub.
