A small pedestrian plaza in central Ulaanbaatar whose wall bears a bronze relief of the four Beatles, recalling how the band's smuggled records became a quiet symbol of youthful defiance during the socialist decades. Unveiled in the 2000s, the monument shows three musicians on one side and John Lennon seated on the other, where young people still sit and play guitar. Surrounded by cafés and shops just off the main avenue, the square is an informal meeting point and a window into how Western culture filtered into a closed country.
