Bible Lands Museum

The Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem is devoted to the cultures of the ancient Near East that form the backdrop to the biblical world. Its galleries display artefacts from Mesopotamia, Egypt, Persia, Anatolia, and the wider region, arranged chronologically to trace the development of writing, religion, and daily life across the Fertile Crescent. Located beside the Israel Museum, it draws on a major private collection assembled over decades, illuminating the setting in which the scriptures unfolded.
