State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan

A major fine-art museum in Tashkent holding one of the largest collections in Central Asia, spanning Uzbek applied arts, painting, sculpture and a notable body of Russian and Western European works. Its rooms display suzani embroidery, ceramics, carved doors and jewellery alongside canvases gathered over more than a century. The museum charts the artistic traditions of the region and the emergence of modern Uzbek art. Rotating exhibitions supplement the permanent galleries across several floors.
