State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan

The oldest museum in the country, based in Tashkent and tracing the history of the region from prehistory through the Silk Road eras to the modern republic. Its galleries display archaeological finds, coins, manuscripts, ceramics and ethnographic material, including Buddhist relics from ancient settlements.
