Adjacent to Jahangir's mausoleum in Shahdara Bagh, this Mughal tomb holds the remains of Asif Khan, a powerful courtier and brother of Empress Nur Jahan. Constructed in the 1640s, its octagonal form was once sheathed in coloured marble and tilework, much of it stripped over the centuries, leaving a dramatic brick core beneath a bulbous dome. Set within its own garden enclosure, the monument reflects the Persian-influenced funerary architecture of the late Mughal court. It stands as part of a cluster of imperial tombs west of the Ravi River.
