This triple-arched gateway in the heart of Ahmedabad's old city is one of the oldest and most elaborate ceremonial gates in Gujarat, dating to the 15th-century sultanate. Built of buff sandstone with finely carved brackets and arches, it once linked the royal square to the outer city and framed grand processions. Today it stands amid the bustling Bhadra market, its worn stonework surrounded by shops and hawkers. The gate anchors the historic Bhadra precinct and remains a defining monument of the walled city's medieval core.
