This richly carved marble Jain temple was built in the mid-19th century by a wealthy merchant family and dedicated to a Tirthankara. Its main shrine is surrounded by a cloister of smaller shrines, each topped with domes and spires, and the whole complex is renowned for the delicacy of its white stone carving. A tall, ornately sculpted victory column stands in the forecourt. Quiet and beautifully maintained, the temple offers a serene contrast to the surrounding city and showcases the region's tradition of intricate temple craftsmanship.
