This concert hall in Odesa occupies a striking building erected at the end of the nineteenth century in a Venetian Gothic style, originally as the city's stock exchange. Its arched loggias, pointed windows and richly painted interior distinguish it from the neoclassical buildings around it. After the exchange closed, the ornate hall was adapted for orchestral concerts and remains home to the city's philharmonic. Visitors attend performances or admire the facade near the seafront.
