One of the main avenues of Pristina, this boulevard was named in honour of the United States president who backed the NATO intervention during the Kosovo conflict of 1999. A large statue of the former president stands beside the road, along with a mural, drawing visitors interested in the recent history that shaped the country's independence. The wide thoroughfare is lined with shops, cafés and residential blocks and reflects the strong pro-American sentiment found in Kosovo.
