The Cathedral of Blessed Mother Teresa is the principal Roman Catholic church of Kosovo, consecrated in the centre of Pristina and named for the ethnic-Albanian nun canonised as a saint. Its tall bell tower and broad nave dominate a corner of the city near the main boulevard, and visitors may climb the tower for a panoramic view over the capital. The modern structure was built in the years after Kosovo's conflict as a symbol of the country's religious diversity.
