Sinebrychoff Art Museum

The Sinebrychoff Art Museum in Helsinki specialises in old European masters and is housed in the former home of a wealthy brewing family who assembled its founding collection. Its rooms display paintings, miniatures, silver and furniture from earlier centuries, with the family's preserved private apartments giving a sense of nineteenth-century domestic elegance. As the national museum for older foreign art, it complements Finland's other galleries by focusing on European traditions.
