An indigo-washed courtyard mansion on Leith Street built in the 1880s for the tycoon Cheong Fatt Tze, blending Hakka and Teochew traditions with Scottish ironwork and Art Nouveau stained glass. Guided tours explain the feng shui principles behind its layout, and part of the house now operates as a boutique heritage hotel. Its striking blue lime-washed facade has made it one of George Town's most photographed buildings.
