A short heritage lane at the heart of George Town's UNESCO core, lined with shophouses that once housed Armenian traders and later Chinese clan associations. Today it is best known for Ernest Zacharevic's wall murals, including the famous children-on-a-bicycle painting, alongside craft shops and cafes. Sun Yat-sen planned part of the 1911 Chinese revolution from a base at number 120.
