Bukchon Hanok Village

Occupying a hillside between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung, Bukchon preserves several hundred traditional hanok courtyard houses in the heart of modern Seoul. The tiled rooflines cascade down alleyways that converge at a small hilltop overlook — a viewpoint widely recognised as one of Seoul's signature vistas — particularly striking in early morning before the crowds gather.
