The Vancouver Lookout is an observation deck atop the Harbour Centre building in downtown Vancouver, reached by a glass exterior lift that climbs about 130 metres up the side of the tower. From the circular enclosed gallery visitors gain a full panorama of the harbour city, taking in the port, the North Shore mountains, Stanley Park and the surrounding waters of the Salish Sea. Interpretive displays identify the landmarks below. Completed in the 1970s, it remains one of the most convenient viewpoints in the city centre.
